I know people that have used Sacramento Showcase and were happy. Better check to see if they are still around.

RE: Securing a Yamaha EF2400iS Genny

I think THIS might work.
Great Post !!!
What this site (and the whole world) needs is a little more humor.
Looking for more of the same from you,
Harry,
I don't post unless I have something that can be useful. Every once in awhile, usually after happy hour, I get carried away :B

RE: Ohio income tax

Some states, CA comes to mind, even wants to tax you on retirement income if you move out of the state and earned it while a CA resident.
bumpy
CA doesn't tax you like that anymore. A court case put an end to it.

RE: Remote Storage

Get a good universal remote and program all your stuff in it. Put all the other remotes in a box and leave them in the basement.
Been there, done that. There's always ONE item that the universal remote doesn't recognize. And you sometimes lose certain functions such as extended info for the current program (satellite) or other obscure items. I wish someone could make an all-for-one remote that actually WORKS.
And... in my case, the satellite receiver is in the basement and controlled by an RF remote. I don't think ANY universal remote is capable of RF.
I have a rf remote for the stick house. Works great but it isn't cheap.

RE: Echo Charger vs Trik-L-Start

Can't say anything about the Trikl but my Echo Charger works fine. It came installed from the Country Coach factory. I have seen the Echo as low as $70 on sale.

RE: Ohio income tax

If you are a resident of Ohio, they will want tax for the whole year no matter where you spend time.

RE: What length is acceptable for motorhome and trailer?

There are a lot of infractions that go either unnoticed of are just let go.
Can you get away with it? I would say that it depends on what side of the bed the officer got up that day of if another violator got his panties in a bunch.

RE: media center laptop

If you GOOGLE "NET framework:V1.1.4322", you will get some good info.
Anytime you get an error message, you can cut and paste the message into Google and get an answer.

I see you are just across the border. Did you buy the coach that is in the lot in Blaine that was advertised for $46K?

RE: Brakes are locked

In addition to all of the above, try going in reverse first.
To the poster that said look at the parking brake cable.... Endeavor DPs don't have a parking brake cable, everything is done by air. The parking brake is the rear brakes, there is no "park" position for the transmission. The parking brakes have to be set.

RE: Thinking about buying an 2004 Travel Supreme

I wouldn't have any problems with purchasing it, the total coach is out of warranty anyway. There are competent shops out there that can take care of anything that might go wrong.

RE: Advice about changing res to S dakota

The wheel tax in Sioux Falls is $4 per wheel. The maximum is $16 per vehicle. Averaged over 365 days, it works out to a little over 4 cents cents a day. No big deal to me.

RE: Radio

The am side is shot. Only thing to do is take it out and replace it. The cost of repair would probably be as much as a new one.
